So Far, So Good

For all my friends in the blogosphere, my daughter’s brain tumor has not grown and emergency surgery is not needed. She will be kept in an observation mode with another MRI in 9 months. We are hoping that the tumor does not grow during her lifetime. Now our focus is on her husband and the treatments/operations necessary to take away his cancer. He will have further tests next month to determine the stage that it is in and the consider options for treatment. They have to give up their house because of the bills that will keep coming in and the work being lost because of the cancer. They will try to sell it before the bank forecloses. Please keep praying for the situation and that hope could find a new beginning.

This is a trial of faith for us all. I hate it , but without being stretched, we will never experience the redeeming relationship of love that God desires for us. Wishing upon a star will not take away the pain; holding on to the promises of His Word is our only hope.

1 Peter 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
