It was how we described a dedicated, zealous, and fearless witness for the Lord back in the days of the Jesus Movement of the 70’s. There was a large percentage of Baby Boomers who were not ashamed of their faith and not afraid to be vocal about it. They had a cause , a vision, and the energy to make it happen. People noticed, respect was given to the movement, souls were won to Jesus. I say this because today a college student came across my path who was “sold out” for Jesus. How refreshing! Me and about 12 other pastors prayed over her and the ministry she has to college students. Baby Boomers like me need the coming generation. We need their zeal, their energy, their passion, their confidence to overcome obstacles, and their potential for Jesus once they are “sold out” to Him.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58
